PRAISE JESUS!Beloved Brothers and Sisters, Thank you and God bless you for being partners with I Am Born Again Ministries and being a part of our family at the Refuge House for Children this past year.
What a Blessing this year has been! All of us being about our Fathers business, building His Kingdom here on earth, it is good soil that you have been sowing into, and has produced a tremendous harvest of souls, and an abundance of treasures being stored in Heaven to your account.
Our precious wonderful Lord Jesus has done many great things this last year. Our first child who came to the Refuge House to live nine years ago, Jackie Lou, will finish her first year of college in May.
Jackie Lou has for several years, while going to high school, been very busy being about the Lord’s business as a Refuge House Team Leader.
She has been a Youth Leader, Praise & Worship Leader, and has been very strong in evangelism among other things.
She first wanted to go to college for agriculture but realized we have many church members who are strong in agriculture.
So then she decided to go for hotel and restaurant management, with focus on cruise ships, where she would be able to witness to the crew as well as passengers.
We know that she will be a great witness for our Lord Jesus Christ where ever he leads her.
Shoney will finish her first year of nursing school in May. Shoney, for years, has done all the video work in the Philippines. She films, edits, and sends them to YouTube for you to enjoy. She also manages the house in the city where college students stay. We are excited for what our Lord Jesus will do with her. If you have ever been to a doctor or a hospital and had a nurse or a doctor pray for you, you know what a Blessing this is.
One of the abundant treasures in Heaven and fruit to our account we are receiving is the Discipleship and Feeding in elementary schools and other places. It is impossible to say exactly how many meals our Lord Jesus has provided this year for precious malnourished children. It is approximately in the area of 150,000 meals this last year conservatively. In my limited English, I cannot even begin to tell you how great a blessing this is to a child. All I can say, with tears in my eyes, is I thank our Father in Heaven and praise Jesus for you!
Another area of abundant treasures and fruit to our account is Evangelism to tribes and other areas. Again it is impossible to really say how many people that our Father in Heaven, by His Spirit, has drawn to Him. But we do know it is many many!
Our School Sponsorship for elementary and high school students at the Refuge House, without any doubt, our Lord Jesus has used this to save precious kids’ lives. For a child just to stay at the Refuge House, or at their own home with their own family, to go to school and not be sent to the city to be a working student, without a doubt, has saved some of their lives. GOD BLESS YOU!
22 years ago when the Lord gave me this vision of the Refuge House, I had no idea what it really was and what it would become. Our Father is faithful to complete the work that He has started in us. Over the years as He guided and directed me through many dangers, toils and snares, through the times that I failed, through the good times and the hard times, it was His amazing grace that has brought me safely this far, and His amazing grace will lead me home to be with our precious Lord Jesus forevermore!
Little did I know 22 years ago that the vision of the Refuge House would be a place where Jesus is first in everything, where starting a children’s Bible study would lead into all the great ministries our Lord and King does there — a place where children are safe and are taught and shown the Love of the Father in Jesus Christ. Little did I know, that the Refuge House would be a place where brothers and sisters can come to have God encounter weekends and youth camps.
Little did I know there would be men’s and women’s seminars and gatherings, Bible studies, and Praise & Worship weekends. Little did I know, there would be a church in an area where there wasn't a church — a place for brothers and sisters to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ, a place of prayer and discipleship in the ways of Jesus Christ. Little did I know, out of the Refuse House there would come pastors and evangelists, youth who have started 13 home churches. Little did I know 22 years ago that everyone at the Refuge House would be doing what our Lord and King Jesus said in Matthew 25, "Then the King will say to those on his right, ’Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ "
Little did I know 22 years ago that everyone at the Refuge House would be doing what our Lord & King Jesus said in Matthew 28 — Jesus said, ’All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Beloved brothers and sisters, again God bless you and thank you for being a part of the Refuge House Family. Our estimated budget for 2020 is $80,000 for the year to continue all the work that our Lord is doing through the Refuge House Team.
We ask you to prayerfully consider giving a large end-of-the-year donation for this coming year. We pray you have a blessed Jesus Birthday & prosperous 2020.

PRAISE JESUS!REPORT FROM TERESA
Our heavenly Father works in prayers. In the past two weeks, Myrna who is 38 years old and mother of one of our youth named Meguilito, a 7th grade student, experienced the healing from the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the morning, the mother was cooking a fried egg for her sons so they could have food for lunch in school that day. After she cooked, she felt her body was falling down. She felt dizzy and could not move half of her body. She called for help, and her husband came and let her sit in a chair.
She could not move half of her body even though she wanted to move or shaking and nothing happened. So they brought her to hospital.
The kids riding in the multicab prayed for healing. Every day everyone was praying, and after few days the mother was home and already moving her body from head to toes. Thank you Jesus.
We went to their house and pray, and she was very thankful for our heavenly father giving her a second chance to have the strength so she can help her family especially to take care of her two sons again. She was crying while telling us how thankful she is to the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing, and she is thankful for everyone praying for her and asking our Heavenly Father to heal her and give her strength. Before we left their house she offered us some snacks, bread and drinks. Her husband cooked the mac and cheese. Everyone got full, very happy and thankful to Jesus Christ for letting us see His wonderful love to everyone.
FEEDING
With a sad heart, one of the schools that we have been doing the Discipleship and Feeding in for seven or eight years has stopped the Discipleship Feeding Program. This is the school that had lots of problems with gangs around the school when we started. After about a year, things started getting better. Whenever they would have a problem they would call the Refuge Team to come pray. Everything continued to get better until there is hardly any problem there.
In June this year at the start of the school year, there was a new teacher in charge assigned to the school. A teacher in charge is the same as a principal here in the USA. This new principal told our Refuge House team that the Discipleship of teaching the children about the Lord Jesus Christ and His ways was “a waste of time”. Even though the other teachers in the school, who were there when we started the Discipleship Feeding Program, were telling her how many problems there were in the school before, she would not listen.
It is very heartbreaking for many reasons.
- We have seen these children, who were malnourished, become healthy and strong, spiritually and physically.
- We have been ministering there so long, these babies are just like they are our own.
- This reminds me of the Lord Jesus Christ being kicked out of our schools here in the USA.
- One good thing though I believe it's a sign of the times of the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
The Bible tells us that when one door shuts that our Lord opens another door, and this is true in this case also. There are many other schools who want to have the Discipleship and Feeding in the schools. We have contacted other schools, and we will start this month in them. One of these schools has 120 malnourished children in it. Our brother, Pastor Francis, will do the discipleship at the school.
Even though we are saddened about the other school, we are excited to help these malnourished children to grow and know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please keep these new schools in prayer. Thank You!
FEEDING #2 FROM TERESA
We are thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for the boxes of mac and cheese with vitamins and minerals needed to grow healthy. Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for your life. There are days that everyone could not afford to buy food for the day.
The kids that come to church do not even have a breakfast meal. Sometimes the family doesn't have rice to cook. The elderly and sick cannot eat hard food, and they need nutrition to survive another day, weeks or years to live and be with their family. The problem is they don't have that much money to prioritize to buy nutritious and delicious food to give their bodies so they could gain strength.
Thank you for the opportunity to have this mac and cheese, the delicious and nutritious food that from babies to eldest can eat and give their bodies what they need. On visitation to the elderly, we give them mac and cheese, and everyone is very thankful for having a meal for the day.
Thank you so much for all of your kindness! Thank you for having a good heart. Thank you so much for taking your time and for giving your time, prayer, and financial matters and support to I Am Born Again Ministries, so we could have these many boxes of mac and cheese, so we could reach out being your hands and feet and our Lord Jesus’ hands and feet here to reach the poor, sick, hungry and malnourished individuals. PRAISE JESUS!We are so thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for all he has done this month. Even though things in the world look really bad sometimes. We must trust our Heavenly Father, staying full of Hope, patiently waiting for the return of our Precious, Sweet, Wonderful Lord, King and Savior Jesus Christ!!! HE is our Joy and our Strength!!
REFUGE HOUSE
Pastor Odgie has started a leadership training after church every second Sunday. It is a wonderful training for the youth. Pastor Odgie encourages the youth not to just hear the word but to be doers of the word. He gives them assignments to Work on till the next meeting. It is really helping them to be more rooted and grounded in the word.
FOOD
Praise Jesus, all the food we shipped has arrived at the Refuge House. It took 2 1/2 months to arrive and all of it arrived safely. We have enough food that we will not have to ship food again until next year, in June. Thank You Jesus.
CHRISTMAS PRESENTS
Thank you for your prayers. We were blessed with the finances and we have shipped all the Christmas presents.
HAZEL
Hazel is always busy every day. Teaching and discipling in schools and Busy ministering every evening at the Refuge House. Every 2nd Friday night she leads a youth night. Anywhere between 20 to 30 youth attend. Also ever Saturday morning they have youth group. She has a great passion to share Jesus and to get them to come and be rooted and grounded in the word of God. Please be in prayer for our Father to continue to draw youth to the youth group to hear HIS Word.
JACKIELOU
Jackielou has settled in to college class routine. She has settled in to business management in Hotel and the restaurant management. She is doing very well and making good grades. On Wednesdays she does not have class so she returns to the Refuge to help. She does the teaching, discipleship and feeding at two elementary schools on Wednesday. Our Youth who are seniors, sometimes are able to go with her. They're very excited to be able to go and help with the discipleship. Not only do they help with the teaching and training but they're able also to do dance presentation. They also are growing, as they continue to get more comfortable Sharing their testimonies of what Jesus Christ has done in their life. And to be able to share the salvation message to others.
GOSPEL OUTREACH
Jackielou also this month lead a gospel outreach at José Rizal. The Refuge House youth help in the outreach by doing dance presentation, skit, singing and witnessing to the people. Many people were drawn to our Father.
SHONEY
Shoney has also settled into her nursing college routine. She really has to study hard and she is doing very well in her classes and making good grades.
SPONSORED KIDS
High school and Elementary School — all of the children are doing very well. They have lots of school activities and studies. Everyone is doing very well with their grades, some a little better than others but all of them are doing well.
EZEKIEL
Ezekiel has a great blessing this month. In July, the Department of Education gave examinations to students who are older than their grade level. In the event A student could pass the examination they would be promoted to a higher grade level. This month the teacher announced that Ezekiel is one of the students that pass the exam. He is very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for guiding him and for that opportunity to pass the exam. He is very busy now studying the past lessons of this new grade and to catch up on the projects. He Is very happy and excited and thanking our Lord Jesus.
SCHOOL BUS MAINTENANCE
Our yellow multicab School bus has to have four new tires, a battery and some new parts for the front end, oil change and other general maintenance. The cost will be approximately $375.00 for all the parts and labor. Please be in prayer for the provisions for this. The White KIA truck is still in great shape at this time. PRAISE JESUS!We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for your life. We praise Him and thank Him for the love and compassion that He has placed inside of you. We always pray that our Father will bless you and give you the desires of your heart.
GOSPEL OUTREACH
This month the Refuge House Team went to Brgy. Antipulu-an to do Gospel Outreach. Pastor Pedregoza went with us also. There is no church in that area.
Pastor Pedregoza will continue going there once a week to teach and disciple the adults and children. Not only did we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and feed the hungry children afterwards, we also gave out eyeglasses to the adults. These were some of the eyeglasses that brother Ron White, Dolly White, and brother Mickey Westcoat had left from a few years ago. They are with Vision for Christ Ministries.
Pastor shared the salvation message, and many responded. Our Refuge House Team shared testimonies and taught Bible verses to the children. They also taught action praise songs and dance songs to the Lord.
It was a really blessed time in the Lord and we are so thankful that pastor will continue to go there once a week. Most of the people in the area are fishermen.
Our Lord touched one person to allow pastor to use a little bamboo building on Sunday afternoons to teach the word of God. Thank you, Jesus, we give you Praise! Please keep this new fellowship in prayer!

All the kids are doing very well in school, and we are so blessed they are doing so well! I think of the things these kids have been through in their young life and am always amazed how our Loving Jesus can heal broken hearts! HE LOVES US!
HIGHER EDUCATION
Well Praise Jesus, Sweet Jackielou has ended up in college for Business Management in Hotel & Restaurant. She is doing extremely well in her classes. She is having to study hard to get good grades. Shonney is also doing excellent in her nursing school, and she also has to study very hard!
Because they are studying so much, it is harder to get videos edited to send you. They do not have as much time to edit and download. Downloading is very hard as the signal comes and goes! But Praise Jesus, we will get them to you asap.
DISCIPLING & FEEDING IN SCHOOLS
The Refuge House Team is wide open now and is going to many schools to teach Jesus and feed hungry children. They go to many schools each week, and it is such a great blessing. Teachers, parents and students are so very thankful for the blessing. They always are saying thank you to the Refuge House Team. They always tell them to thank our Lord Jesus Christ and praise Him for You! The one He chose to be a partaker in the souls saved & treasures being stored in Heaven!
REFUGE HOUSE
We are getting an estimate on pouring a sidewalk and adding a roof extension on the two-story Dormitory. When it rains it pours off the roof about one foot from the door. We are going to pour a sidewalk and extend the roof over it so the kids do not get muddy when they walk out of the dormitory. We will have the estimate by next month newsletter so please be in prayer for this! We will be doing some other upgrading also at a later date.

PRAISE JESUS!Praise and glory be to our Heavenly Father! We are very thankful for what our Lord Jesus Christ has done in our lives. We are thankful for the word from the Bible that is always reminding us while walking with faith on this Earth.
Every day we may see different things, difficult situations, a broken family, a hurting people, hungry children and children who could not go to school because of the hardship in the family. But beyond that, we still see how wonderful our God is who gives us strength to stand on His very word. His promises are that once we humble ourselves before the Lord, He is always present to be our help to rescue and perform His promises of abundant life and good future, and to direct our paths as we acknowledge Him in our lives and in our every plan.
We are very thankful for the blessings and opportunities, and for providing for the needs of the kids that stay here at Refuge house.
Thanks to our Heavenly Father because these kids found a shelter, a home, a family, food to eat, and most especially a Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, to help for the rest of their lives.
Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for your life for being there in prayer, support, and being part of our lives. Thank you for being so generous and for having a good heart. We always pray to our Heavenly Father to pour out the abundant blessings, favor and good health on you and on your family.

Weekly activities continue by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The youth continue doing the visitation every weekend. Pastor Odgie teaches us to grow more spiritually. The kids are very thankful for giving them opportunity to stay here at Refuge house.
QUICK UPDATE ON SOME OF THE KIDS
Jackielou is now in first year college. It's been many years since she was in fifth grade and started to stay here until now.
Precious is in 12th grade. She started here at Refuge house when she is in seventh grade. Now she is a gorgeous lady, serving the Lord and helping other kids.
Ezekiel is doing well, trying his very best to excel in his classes. Last year he is first honor. He does a lot at Refuge House and church activities. Before he is kind of shy, but every day his confidence is growing through the love of Jesus for him. He is here at Refuge House since he was in fourth grade.
Bernard is in eighth grade. He is new here at Refuge House, and he is willing to obey and do his part. He is very good in teaching the children; he leads praise and worship too. He loves going to school, and his mother wants him to focus on serving our Heavenly Father. The word from the Bible is always at his heart.
Gerardo is 10 years old in seventh grade. Both parents have passed away. He stayed with his uncle, but they could not afford to send him to high school. Gerardo is a smart kid and is willing to do his part being here at Refuge house. He wants to go to school. And he listens and is willing to obey. He loves reading also.
Reymar is 11 years old in seventh grade. He had been taking care of his grandmother who is sick and half paralyzed. While he was in elementary school, he gave food to his grandmother before school. He would also bring water for a bath because the source of water is still far from their house. After school he goes first to his grandmother and checks on what she needs. His parents could not afford for him to go to high school. They are thankful because Reymar has a chance to stay at Refuge House and have the opportunity to go to school. He is a happy kid, willing to do his part being here at Refuge. He is very happy being here and is friendly. And now he has help with his grandmother.
Tairon Jake is eight years old. While his mother was pregnant with him, his parents separated. His father is a Muslim but now both parents have new family and did not want him. He stayed with his grandmother, but she was not able to take good care of him. Tiairon Jake is very happy because he is here at Refuge house and he is willing to obey. He is a shy kind, but Israel and Tairon Jake are good buddies.
And as always many kids come on certain days when they need safety. Some stay a few days, others a few weeks or longer. We had several kids leave the Refuge House this summer. Their families were blessed to get good jobs and are now able to take care of their kids!
Thank you so much for your kindness. Thank you for being so generous to these children. Every day and every night these kids are praying to our Heavenly Father to pour out all the blessings in your life. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to teach and take care of these wonderful children. Thank you so much for giving these kids a family and a shelter. We pray always to our Lord Jesus Christ to bless you and more treasures in Heaven for you. Thank you and God bless you!!!
This month we visit and have feeding in a tribal area. They are called Tagbanua tribe. Last 2013 -- if I'm not mistaken -- Pastor Harrell took a team of I Am Born Again Ministries to do an evangelistic program. After sharing the love of our Heavenly Father, many surrendered to Jesus. Then we fed them. In that area, there was no church of any kind in 2013. The only contact in that area is the leader of the tribe.
But a pastor came this month and asked if we can visit and see the area now. They had put up a building for church, and every Sunday after the service they feed the kids. When we got there I remember the place. I'm amazed because they have church already and have a pastor that is taking care of them and teaching them about Jesus. They have 45 kids attend regularly. Jackielou is teaching them the heavenly action song, and Hazel shares the love of Jesus. After the teaching, every one followed the salvation prayer. Our kids with Israel do the dance presentation, and the tribe kids are dancing too. The pastor and his wife are very thankful for the opportunity that they can avail the feeding for the tribal kids.

PRAISE JESUS!Praise Jesus, June went by very fast. Praising Jesus, worshiping Jesus, being thankful for all that HE does. Bless HIS holy name. To HIM who sits on the throne, be all blessings, glory, honor and praise!!
FOOD SHIPPING UPDATE
Praise Jesus, we have received $3,500.00 for the shipping and distribution of the food for the malnourished children for this next year. Glory to God! Our Father is faithful. Please continue to pray for the remaining $1,700.00 to ship and distribute the food. By the time you receive this newsletter, everything should be packed ready to ship, or already shipped.
We praise Jesus and thank our Father in heaven, for the love of Jesus in you, to be partakers of the treasures in heaven, to feed these precious hungry children in the tribes, in elementary school, in churches, in gospel outreaches and at the Refuge House. For approximately 12,000 to 15,000 meals a month, there are thousands of thank you’s from the voices of these precious children, rising to heaven, a sweet, sweet sound in the ears of our Father in Heaven!! Thank you and God bless you!!!
VCS (VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL)
VCS is known as Vacation Bible School here in the USA. A few days ahead of VCS, Hazel trained the youth about how to teach and share with kids for the VCS. They also practice new praise songs to teach the kids and also practice dance presentation for each group of kids. Some youth were assigned to help prepare food. 116 kids showed up for VCS and had a great time learning about JESUS and HIS LOVE for THEM! They were taught Bible verses, praise songs, and dances to the Lord taught from the Bible lessons and stories. We encouraged them to surrender to JESUS!
They were so happy learning everything about JESUS! They were so thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to come to VCS and learn about JESUS and also very thankful to have delicious food to eat!!
Some of these children came from another village and we want to continue to disciple them in the ways of JESUS! We are starting a Discipleship Feeding in the school at their village and continue their growth of being rooted and grounded in GOD ’S WORD!! Please be in Prayer!!
HAZEL
We are so blessed that our LORD JESUS had Hazel return to the Refuge House after Bible college! She has hit the ground running and has been a tremendous blessing with helping with all our LORD JESUS is doing at the Refuge House!
Our LORD has also used her to reignite our youth group. She is very passionate about sharing JESUS and invited youth to come for a special day of loving JESUS for just youth. 38 young people attended! The Salvation message was shared, and youth were encouraged to follow JESUS.
They had Praise & Worship also. Later in the day they had many Bible Games with testimonies in between. All the youth participated and enjoyed the activities. The youth that came for the first time to the Refuge House all said they wanted to come again. PRAISE JESUS!! Please be in prayer for these youth!!

PERSONAL NEED
We have gotten to the point that Lolita will need her own transportation here in USA. Please be in Prayer for her a very good vehicle - one that is in good shape and has no mechanical issues. We are trusting our LORD for the right vehicle for her. Thank you for helping us pray!

Praise Jesus, we are so thankful for the rain this month. The grass is getting green, and the farmers are able to plant!! Thank You, JESUS!!

Every day our Heavenly Father is always reminding us of His Faithfulness in our lives, through HIS word in the Bible and HOLY SPIRIT that is in us.
We must continue to abide in HIM and be strong in standing in faith in JESUS. Every day we encounter different situations, but our HEAVENLY FATHER is giving us different ideas to handle these things and shows us His uniqueness and how great and powerful HE is.
Everyone has challenges to face every day. Thanks to the salvation that we received, as we humble ourselves before the LORD, then nothing is impossible. Everything will be okay and great because the One we seek first and serve is the Mighty Conqueror. As we continue to obey and trust HIS word, then HE is willing to work in every situation and challenge that we face every day.

PRAISE JESUS!June is a very busy month with all the children are starting back to school. Jackielou is starting her first year of college, she believes she should pursue an agriculture degree instead of a degree in education and is so excited to get started!
Lolita's younger sister, Shoney, is also returning to school to continue moving forward to her nursing degree. Lolita and I are doing our best to support Shoney, so please pray for us.
I am so thankful for everyone going forward as both fields will be a blessing for our Lord’s Ministry. What a blessing to have a nurse to help the children and someone with agricultural knowledge to grow crops and raise livestock! Please be in prayer for everyone as they continue their education.
Here in the USA, we are busy packing and shipping the food with all the vitamins we will need for this next year for all the elementary schools, all the churches’ feeding programs for children, and for all the gospel outreaches. This is approximately 12 to 15 thousand meals per month. Please be in prayer for the $5,200.00 financial provisions for shipping and distribution of the food for this year.
Our Father is faithful, and He said we would not lack in doing any good thing. He also said that when we feed the least of these His little ones, we were feeding Him. That's a good thing, and we will get an abundance of treasures, stored to our account in Heaven. Hallelujah!

YOUTH CAMP
Our Youth were blessed to be invited to go to Brooks Point for a Youth camp and share. There were 120 from the Palawan Tribe who attended, and they were so blessed with the singing, praising and sharing of the Word of God!
Jackielou shared the story of Jonah and the big fish. Everyone was so attentive and even when praying we can see they were so sincere in their heart.
These children were so hungry for the Word of God, it just touched my Heart! The tribal kids love hearing the Bible Stories. They love singing Heavenly action songs, and they love Jesus Christ.
Their lives are very simple; they do not have nice clothes. They do not have nice flip flops. They do not look healthy. But They COME, walking from the mountain. With a bright hot sun beating down on them, they COME. They COME with excitement on their face, with joy to be able to hear about our Father’s Love in HIS SON JESUS! They COME HUNGRY, hungry for Jesus and hunger in their stomachs. And we are BLESSED to Provide BOTH!
Most of them do not go to school. They work in the mountains with their parents. But still they can show their feelings that their heart is very happy and thankful because of the dancing, singing and the delicious food, the mac and cheese.
I'm so blessed while serving the food on every plastic cellophane so they have something to eat while walking a long way to reach their houses.
Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for your life. Thank you so much for your generosity. Thank you for the feeding, the mac and cheese. The Refuge House Team will continue to pray and ask our Heavenly Father to bless the works of your hands, and give you the desire of your heart.

PRAISE JESUS!GREAT POWERFUL TESTIMONY OF JESUS
I am Mom Vergie, and I would like to share what our Heavenly Father did to my brother. Last November 2018, my older brother called and told me about the situation of our youngest brother. As he explained what was going on with our brother, I realized that there was something inside of him.
(Note: the two brothers are living on the Muslim island we went to preach the Gospel a few years back with Joyce Igo.)
He would go around at night everywhere, even to the cemetery. He could not sleep, and he could not eat very much. Someone on the island had given him a very small book in Latin, and my brother does not know Latin language.
He was speaking words we could not understand.
So what I did was, I prayed to Jesus Christ, and I asked the congregation at Refuge House and kids to help me in prayer and ask our Heavenly Father to heal my youngest brother.
A couple weeks later my older brother asked me to come get our youngest and bring to quack (witch) doctor. I refused because I believe that Jesus is our doctor.
So I went to get my brother and let him stay in my house. We continued to pray and declare and receive the healing. I always told him about Jesus Christ—every day.
I told my brother to read the Bible. After one month he repented and surrendered to Jesus Christ on his life and believe HIM (JESUS) that HE only can heal the sickness of my brother.
I am thankful to our Heavenly Father because now he is healed in Jesus name.
He always reads the Bible, and he can sleep very well.
That small book in Latin word, he tore up and put in the fire.
Now he is helping around the house, and he helps in house chores a lot. I can see he is healed.
I am very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for His Salvation of my youngest brother. I am thankful for everybody to help me in prayer. Thank you and God bless you.

ENCOUNTER GOD RETREAT
A church held their Encounter God Retreat here at Refuge House. There were 56 new believers from different barangay from South Palawan.
Adults and youth came, and every one of them experienced the freedom and salvation from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The pastors and leaders wasted no time praising, teaching and praying. They made sure that everyone was soaked in our Lord Jesus’ presence.
They were truly saturated with the love and word of God. All the new believers were excited and amazed when they arrived at the Refuge House because of the beauty and peace of our Lord’s Refuge House.
Thank you, Father, for your loving peaceful presence.
From the start of the second day till the end, there were lots of weeping in repentance, shouts of praise for strongholds being broken in their lives and lots of praising for deliverance and freedom in JESUS!
When everybody was packing up their things to leave, I talked to the leaders and pastors. They were all telling me how blessed they were to be able to come to this wonderful place, the Refuge House. They again told me it is so peaceful and a wonderful place, also how amazed they always are during the Encounter God Retreat, how the Holy Spirit moves in every new believer.
They told me that is why they always set a schedule way ahead of time so they make sure the Refuge House is available for them to use.
When it was their time to leave, everyone had such beautiful smiles, and you can see the glory of God in their faces!!
We are so thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his love:
- that He is always available to those whose hearts are willing to surrender and accept the Salvation He provided
- that our Heavenly Father will fill the empty space in everyone's heart and surely the Peace, Joy and Love will be full in every vessel

GOSPEL OUTREACH AND FEEDING
We went to a small village of the Palawan tribe in the very southern part of Palawan near Brooke’s Point.
Pastor Tin Tin had made the arrangements with the tribal chief for us to come. It was a 3-1/2 hour ride, then 30 minutes to the small village 5 km away from the road - not many houses but many children and some adults.
Ezekiel, Jackielou, Precious and Angelica taught them some praise songs, and I shared Bible stories. Mom Vergie gave instructions to the parents how to cook the mac & cheese.
Pastor Tin Tin, Pastor Samuel and Pastor Julius shared Jesus with everyone there.
We met a 64-year-old woman who walks every Friday 5 km to help the children, and we are going to help her with provisions of mac & cheese and come every so often with Refuge House Team to help these kids grow in the Lord. We praise our Father in Heaven for His provision! She has a great burden for these kids and loves Jesus very much! We were blessed at her dedication to help these kids!
IN CLOSING
We Praise our Lord Jesus Christ, for His love endures forever! He is always faithful to His children and always does what He promises!
We are very thankful because our Heavenly Father sent his Son Jesus Christ so we can experience His blessings and freedom from being a slave of this world.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shows us that He is Alive and He is waiting for the right time to come back and get His people who continually abide in Him and trust Him.
We Praise Him for His loving compassion in you! Thank you!

PRAISE JESUS!Sunday Services have been so blessed as Pastor Odgie has been sharing powerful truths of God’s Word! Praise and Worship have been just wonderful as the Holy Spirit has been so strong in our service.
Our Bible study, prayer warriors, children’s church have been great also. We are so Thankful for our Lord’s Blessing on our corporate times together!
OUTREACH
We had an outreach at an elementary school and had a blessed time. Refuge House Youth taught the kids action Praise Songs, and the kids really liked them! The Youth also did a Praise Dance for the kids!
Hazel shared a Bible story with them and talked about our Father’s love for them by sending Jesus to die for them! Many responded to the drawing of our Father!
Afterwards we had the feeding with the Mac & Cheese that has all the vitamins the kids need to grow strong! They were shouting Thank you and God bless you! ("when you fed the least of these my little ones you did it to me" — Jesus) And of course they did the Hallelujah!!
The Teacher in Charge (principal) Sir Aquino was very thankful and grateful that we came, and he gave us generous time to teach and do our outreach! He was very excited and happy to see our youth so involved with sharing Jesus! He said it was great to see young people who were good role models for the kids.

REFUGE HOUSE
Praise our Lord Jesus Christ, we are thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for His great love for us! This month we never experienced the rain. The weather is just hot, and the farmers could not plant. All we see is the dying grass.
Even the fisherman could not start fishing because we still have those big waves. But thanks to our Heavenly Father because his abundant blessings and mercy are what we have every day!
In every situation, we always remember the promises of our Heavenly Father through His word that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We will just continue to run the race because our Lord Jesus Christ is always there for us to help us. So just keep running to Jesus and keep your eyes on Him!

PRAISE JESUS!PRAISE REPORT FROM HAZEL
Have a blessed and Wonderful day! I'm very excited and thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for all of the blessing I experienced!
In one month I will graduate from Bible College and receive my certification, I am very excited I know how good my God is, and how great He is in my life. I remember the time I was in ninth grade when I desire to go to Bible college.
I pass the three years training in school and one year training in the field (church). I am so blessed and thankful to our Heavenly Father for I Am Born Again Ministries for accepting me and for giving me a chance to be part of the ministry here in Palawan Philippines, I am so thankful because I experienced a lot of different things in ministry.
Monday to Thursday I go to school to teach children the word of God, I love teaching the children because they are very excited in our lessons, Bible verses and most of all the heavenly action song, they love it so much and they enjoy it. I am so Blessed to be a part of the feeding of malnourished children in so many places.
One of my weaknesses is lack of confidence in everything I do, but thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ because He always gives me courage to do my very best in ministry. He gives me a strong confidence to stand and to preach the Gospel in front of the people in our outreaches, in school, community, and in tribes. We really can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
My passion is to share the Gospel to everyone and I’m so thankful to God for using I Am Born Again Ministries to fulfill it. Thank you so much for your prayers and support and I pray that our Lord Jesus will pour out His blessing upon this ministry and to all of you who are part of I am Born Again Ministries.

Hazel was in ninth grade when our Father had us begin making disciples at Refuge House. She is one of two who went on to Bible College so far. She came back and is a tremendous blessing to the ministry.
Hazel has a desire and believes she is to continue our Lords work ministering with the Refuge House Team now that she has completed her studies. She will live at the Refuge House and has asked for $600.00 ($50.00 per month) for living expenses for the next year March 2019 to March 2020. We believe that our Father does exceedingly abundantly more than we can think or imagine! Please pray for provisions for her! Thank you!

FEEDING
Feeding and Discipleship in schools will end 1st of April and start back in June. Our other feedings and discipleship will continue in tribes, outreach areas and all the many churches we help and of course the Refuge House! YOUTH HOUSE TO HOUSE BIBLE STUDY
There is much Joy on Saturday bible studies. Everyone has a part in them as one opens with Prayer another leads songs another shares the word of God etc. Every home is so thankful and happy that we come to share Jesus with them!
We hear testimonies every week from someone who our Father has answered a prayer! We now are sharing at 17 homes where the people are not able to come to the Refuge for church!

PRAISE JESUS!CHRISTMAS OUTREACH
The Refuge House team, along with youth, little Israel and some other younger children prepared a Christmas gift for the widows, elderly and homebound with illness, and delivered to them at their homes.
Rice, noodles, sardines, coffee, crackers and sugar were some of the things they gave. They sang Christmas Carols, and everyone was so surprised and thankful. Even though we were not in the right tune sometimes, we were blessed that our Lord Jesus allowed us to bring so much joy to them and to be able to share our Father’s Love for them. Everyone was so very thankful and happy.
As we sang, little Israel – who is 3 years old – and the other younger kids would carry the food gifts and give to them. We were all amazed at the reaction of the elders. They would get teary eyed when the kids gave them the food gifts. It was a wonderful experience for everyone!! For the elders to have visitors come sing and bring food and visit! For the little ones to feel the joy of giving in their hearts and to see how much it helps people!
To learn what Jesus meant by “It is better to give than receive” After all the singing and giving, we went back to the Refuge and shared with each other how everyone felt! Youth giving what has been given to them, to the young ones — discipleship!!!

BICYCLES, COLORFUL SHOES, TOYS, DRESSES AND SO MUCH MORE!
We give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for the blessings, for the bicycles. We are so very thankful, for giving us the opportunity to be a part of giving bicycles to the children. We praise and thank our Father for the love of Jesus in you to send the bicycles! We are so amazed when we see the bikes. They are wonderful gifts!
The parents are very thankful and very happy because they really want a bicycle for their kids, but the money they make is needed for basic living expenses. For most of the children it's their first time to have a bicycle in their life. They are very excited to ride and very thankful. Even the little ones always says THANK YOU, THANK YOU! While trying to ride, they keep saying it many times. We always tell them you are welcome but thank the Lord and thank Him for you, in the USA whom He touched to give.
Every day after their class I see them on the street riding a bike. Even though the road is rough and very dusty they are so very happy and thankful.
The parents cannot really express in words their thankfulness, and some are so overwhelmed by the blessing they are very shy. But the way they look at their kids riding the bicycles, you can see in their eyes the great gratitude and thankfulness. You can see the smiles on each of their humble faces as they encourage their kids that they can do it, keep trying, as they learn to ride.

Thank you so much for the very nice shoes! They are very happy because they have new shoes and the shoes are very nice and colorful. Everyone wears their shoes going to church and to school. They are very thankful and happy for giving them wonderful and beautiful shoes. Thank you for all the shoes! Thank You so much for bringing comfort to each of their little feet.
Everyone is so thankful and so blessed because of the toys, crayons, and stuff animals. The children enjoy playing with all the toys and also for the books. Thank You so much! They enjoyed the reading and see the different types of animals in the books. They look amazing! And, of course, thank you so much for the dresses! They are wonderful and comfortable.

The Farmers Association & Fisherman Association gathered together to have a Christmas & New Year Party. The President of the Farmers Association came to the Refuge House and asked for someone to share God’s Word at the meeting. He is still so thankful for the prayer for a tractor and our Father answering it!
Our Refuge House Team went to their meeting and the youth did some praise & worship and dance presentation. Then the Word of God was shared!
They were encouraged to be thankful to our Lord for the harvest from the fields and the fish from the sea - to be thankful for strength and good health. To remember and acknowledge that all of these Blessings come from our Heavenly Father and to always Thank Him.
They were told that our Lord made a day of rest and that they should give back some of what our Lord had blessed them with. But Most of all they should always Worship and Obey the Owner of all things, our Father who made Heaven & Earth and have Faith in His Son Jesus Christ!

PRAISE JESUS!GOSPEL OUTREACH & FEEDING
A Pastor came to Refuge House to ask for help feeding in a tribal area with severely malnourished kids. It is the number 1 district out of 32 for malnourished kids.
They have a lady who was elected for captain in this district, and she has been praying for provisions to feed the children. She had no idea where to get food for the children in her district. She just prayed.
Two weeks after the pastor came, our Refuge House team rode two hours and then another 45 minutes by tricycle to reach the tribe. When we arrived we were amazed because we thought there would only be kids. We counted 76 kids not counting the babies, but also there were around 80 youth and adults. The pastor introduced us to them and explained to them that it was not just about the physical food.
He explained the importance of while their kids were young, they needed to be motivated to hear and to be taught the word of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Refuge Team shared testimonies, taught praise songs, Bible verses, and most important shared JESUS. They of course fed them the mac & cheese with all the vitamins and minerals that these malnourished children need!
Most of them spoke their tribal language but they could understand Tagalog. It was very heart touching as everyone kept coming to us, telling us thank you for coming sharing JESUS and telling us thank you for the mac & cheese.
The lady captain is crying while thanking us for visiting their tribe, thanking us for bringing food for the hungry malnourished people.
The pastor is also very thankful. We always tell them to thank our Lord Jesus and to Praise God for everyone HE has touched to give so we are able to be a vessel to share not only JESUS but also the physical food.
We will continue to help these malnourished people (Lord willing and HE said we would not lack in doing any good thing). The Pastor is also going to continue discipling there. All Glory, Honor, and Praise to our FATHER in Heaven!

TESTIMONY
My name is Jackielou and I'm very thankful because I have a chance to know Jesus as my personal savior in my life. And when I received Jesus Christ in my life I am very thankful because I see works of our Heavenly Father in my family especially to my mother.
After she give birth to my older sister, after a week a big storm come and she put the baby in a big bag so she will not drown and they swam to the roof of the house because the water is almost in the roof. After that big storm, she got super stressed and that's the time that most of the time she is out of her mind - until she got me.
When I grow up all I remember is every time she is out of her mind or get crazy she always spank me without any reason, or try to stab me with knife. In other words I did not feel the love of a mother.
But since I received Jesus Christ as my savior and have the chance to stay at Refuge house, I experienced the love and care and comfort. Everyday I received the healing from sadness, pain, fear and being unloved, for everything that happened in my life. With Jesus Christ in my life I release forgiveness and everyday I believe His promises in my life, and everyday I pray for my mother.
Days, weeks, months pass by. Every time I visit in the house, I see some positive changes until the time that my mother become more friendly and she show me her love. I never stop praying and always ask our Heavenly Father His mercy and grace in my life and in my family.
Thank you so much for your prayers for me. All the glory and honor to our Heavenly Father only in Jesus name.

(We are so Thankful for all our Lord is doing with Jackielou. As most of you know our School Sponsorship was started by helping her go to school. She has been so Faithful to our LORD!
She is Refuge House Youth Leader, teaches kids, Praise & Worship Leader, Youth House Church Leader and has even completed pastoral studies. She has been an excellent student and graduates this year from high school.
Her desire & prayer is to go to college this June 2019 to become a teacher as well as continue her work for the LORD. The expenses for her first year at college are approximately between $1,300.00 to $1,500.00. This includes tuition, school projects, books, uniforms, shoes, socks, etc., food and snacks, and transportation back and forth to college from Refuge House.
She is so humble, thankful and precious!
Please be in prayer for the provision for her to continue her education.

REFUGE HOUSE CHURCH
Our Sunday services continue, and we are thankful for the word of encouragement from the Bible for us to continue to live our life with the grace and provision of our Heavenly Father in our life. In everyday needs our Lord Jesus Christ provides, even the strength that we need every day.
Wednesday prayer warriors: we pray without ceasing because we believe that our Heavenly Father will always work in our prayers. We always thank our Heavenly Father for all the people who are part of I Am Born Again Ministries. We are always praying for you.
Our Bible study here at Refuge House Church every Friday and Saturday, and in every house visitation and in children’s Bible study and feeding, we are thankful for the works of Holy Spirit within us as we continue to do the will of our Heavenly Father, to continue to seek first His kingdom and share with other people His great love for us.
Everyday everyone continues to pray every prayer request you send and worship the Lord. They pray and sing praises as well as they continue to memorize the Bible verses. We are thankful our kids are connected to our Heavenly Father as they continue to seek the presence of the Lord to be able to lift up prayers. Everyday, each of the kids are praying for healing, protection, provision in your life who are part of I Am Born Again Ministries, thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for your good heart!
Every day the Kids are thanking our Heavenly Father for your help, so they can go to school and finish their study and reach their goal to have a good life. Thank you so much for the opportunities that you give for the children. That is why every day in every activity here at Refuge house, everyone is giving their best in prayer and thankful heart to our LORD JESUS for each one of You.
